How we started
U Costa Brava was born in 2016 after more than a decade working in the rental industry. During those years, we saw the same pattern repeat itself: agencies managing over a hundred properties with minimal staff who rarely visited the homes they were renting. This distance created problems for owners, frustrations for guests and a general lack of care that the Costa Brava did not deserve.
We believed there had to be a better way.
From day one, our goal was to be close to the properties we manage—truly close. We wanted to know every home as if it were our own, understand each owner’s needs, anticipate issues before they became problems, and continuously improve the property so it performs at its best on the market. Our philosophy is simple: quality over quantity. Exceptional management can only come from real presence, real knowledge and real care.

With an international and multilingual staff fluent in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, and German, we ensure clear communication and a smooth experience for both homeowners and guests. This eliminates misunderstandings and allows us to manage every property with precision and care.
Because we live and work locally, we have built a strong network of trusted contacts across the region, including electricians, plumbers, gardeners, handymen, service providers, and specialised suppliers. This allows us to respond quickly, solve issues efficiently, and maintain every home to a high standard.
